Setting Up Trezor Wallet
1. Unboxing and Connecting Trezor
Unbox Your Trezor:
Ensure the packaging is intact and there are no signs of tampering.
Inside the box, you should find the Trezor device, a USB cable, recovery seed cards, and instructions.
Connect Trezor to Your Computer:
Use the provided USB cable to connect the Trezor device to your computer.
2. Initial Setup
Visit Trezor Start Page:
Open your web browser and go to trezor.io/start.
Install Trezor Bridge:
Follow the instructions to download and install Trezor Bridge, a communication tool that enables your Trezor device to connect with your browser.
Open Trezor Wallet Interface:
After installing Trezor Bridge, go to wallet.trezor.io to access the Trezor Wallet interface.
Initialize the Device:
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Trezor device.
Choose "Create a new wallet" and confirm your selection on the device.
3. Creating a Recovery Seed
Generate Recovery Seed:
Your Trezor will display a 24-word recovery seed on its screen.
Write down the seed words in the exact order on the provided recovery seed card. Do not save this digitally or share it with anyone.
